What's in My Bag: Drugstore Finds!-Article & Thread Boutique

Let's be real, makeup is expensive. It is one of my vices which means I avoid even setting foot in most places that sell makeup. With these picks, you don't have to break the bank to look your most ~fabulous~ self!

E.l.f. cosmetics: Mad for Matte eyeshadow palette. I have the original one with neutral browns and it’s seriously comparable to any high-end palette. It’s only $10. That’s right, ten dollars. For ten shades. Honestly one of the best purchases ever. I need to get the Mad for Matte 2 which has more purple tones.

Wet n Wild Megaglo Illuminating powder in Catwalk Pink. For $4.68, this highlighter is everything. There are four gorgeous shades you can use individually or swirl them together for a more dimensional look! It has a great buildable formula with, admittedly, a little fallout. But hey, at $4 I can afford some fallout!

Wet N Wild Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Coral Corruption. I know, I know, another Wet n wild product. But honestly if you haven’t jumped on the Wet n Wild train yet you’re missing out. This liquid lippie is only $4.99 and has some of the best staying power ever.

Maybelline Master Strobing Stick in Nude Glow. Y’all. This stick is so easy to apply and blend. It’s not glittery either. It has a beautiful creamy finish and this color makes you look like a lit-from-within sun goddess. No exaggeration. At around $10, it’s a little pricey for the amount of product you get, but it lasts a while so I really feel like it’s worth the buy.

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Big Shot Mascara. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this mascara. I am super picky about formula and brush shape and really liked what this had going on. It made my lashes much thicker and longer looking in just one or two coats. For reference, I’ll usually put up to four coats on and brush out clumps between coats. This mascara costs anywhere from $7-$9 depending on where you go!
