The Dog Days of Summer

Posted on July 11 2017

Y'all. It's hot. July and August are always the months that I start longing for cold nights again. Shocker, I know. I've given up all hope of looking nice for work because I get sweaty on the 50 ft walk across the parking lot from my apartment and honestly having my eye makeup melting onto my under-eyes is just not cute.

But recently I've been looking for ways to stay chic even when it's in the 90's and 100% humidity (#blessed amirite??). I'm tired of looking like a hot mess even if that is what I feel like. Here are just a few pieces of clothing and accessories to help you push through the heat and look your most fabulous!

Watercolor print romper

This romper speaks for itself. It's effortless and breezy and the ultimate weekend staple for your closet. View the Watercolor Print Romper.

White oversized crochet top

This can be worn over a shirt, tank top, bralette, or bathing suit. And it comes in black. Shop it here.

Glossy two tone round sunglasses

I'm going to be honest with y'all here: I laughed when I first saw these sunglasses. I thought they were goofy. And as a joke I tried them on, and LOVED THEM. They were super flattering and the purple are my favorite. They pulled together my blah outfit to make it cute and fun! Only $12 here

Willow wooden black and gold beaded bracelets

And last but certainly not least: this bracelet set. I will never ever get tired of black and white. It's so timeless. They elevate any and every outfit. Get them here.

Of course, this list could go on and on with other easy summer additions, but these are my current favorites!

Until next time,
